Juve clinch 6th consecutive Serie A title

Italian giants Juventus clinched a record sixth consecutive Serie A title after a 3-0 victory over Crotone in Turin on Sunday.

Mario Mandzukic turned home Juan Cuadrado’s cross from close range to give the home side an early 12-minutes lead, before Paulo Dybala curled home a brilliant free-kick on 39 minutes.

In the second 45 minutes, Alex Sandro headed in a third via the crossbar just 7 minutes to stoppage time, as the champions celebrated yet another season of victory.

Juve, who beat Lazio 2-0 in the Italian Cup final on Wednesday, are bidding to become the second Italian team, after Jose Mourinho’s 2010 Inter Milan, to win the treble.

They face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff on June 3rd.

But they have one game – against Bologna on the final day of Serie A next Sunday – before facing the Spanish giants.
