Kaduna approves N72K as minimum wage for civil servants

The Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has approved a new minimum wage of N72,000 for civil servants in the state.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Kaduna.

He said the new minimum wage would take effect from November.

Musa added that the approval was aimed at improving the living conditions of the low-income, the vulnerable and the underserved communities in the state.

He restated the government’s commitment to implementing policies that would uplift the less privileged and make the state a model for social welfare programmes in the country.
