Kaduna records 16 more cases of COVID-19, 15 of them Almajiris from Kano

Kaduna State government has confirmed that the state recorded 16 more positive cases of COVID-19.

The state, however, said that out of the 16 cases, 15 of them were Almajiris who were sent back to the state from Kano.

Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai, who disclosed this in his official Twitter handle- @GovKaduna, wrote:

“Covid-19 Update: The Kaduna State Ministry of Health this evening confirmed receipt of 16 more positive results, 15 of them from almajiris.

“The state has now recorded 50 cases from repatriated almajiris. Active cases have risen to 57.”
