England striker, Harry Kane, netted a brace to increase his Premier League tally as Tottenham thrashed Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.
With the win, Spurs got their sixth consecutive away league victory, and they are third on the log after the game.
It was Kane who opened the scoring early in the 9th minute, which was followed by an effort by Ben Davies seven minutes later, before kane netted his second of the day on 23 minutes.
The visitors had to wait until stoppage time to make it 4-0 with Moussa Sissoko netting from close range for his first goal for the club.
With Kane’s doubles against Malta, Everton, Dortmund, West Ham and a hat trick against Apoel, the striker has netted 13 goals for club & country in September 2017 – his best ever goal tally in a single month of his career.
Also, Kane has now scored 27 Premier League goals in 2017 – the record for a single calendar year is 36 by Newcastle legend, Alan Shearer in 1995, and has matched Cristiano Ronaldo’s 84 Premier League goal haul.
