KANO: Man commits suicide by hanging self
A 40-year-old employee of Tarish College, Kawaji, Dakata area of Kano State, Femi Oguntomi, has committed suicide by hanging himself.
The incident occurred on Friday when he was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room, and was confirmed dead at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital where he was rushed to for medical attention.

DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who is the spokesman for the Kano State Police Command, while confirming the development in a statement on Saturday, said the state Commissioner of Police, Illiyasu Mohammed has ordered investigations into the incident.
