Kano records one new case of COVID-19

Kano State Ministry of Health Tuesday confirmed an additional case of coronavirus in the state.

The ministry, who stated this on its Twitter handle @KNSMOH, dismissed reports that the state has recorded seven new cases of the disease.

Kano recorded its first case of COVID-19 on April 11 when an ex-diplomat who just returned to the state tested positive for the virus.

The state confirmed two more cases on Monday, when a 65-year-old woman and her son, who returned from a school in Turkey tested positive for coronavirus.
