Kanu taken to court amid tight security

Embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has reportedly arrived the Federal High Court in Abuja for the commencement of his trail amid tight security.

According to reports, the IPOB leader was transported to the court premises in an enclosed Hilux van while an open Hilux with prison officers and other security officials mostly armed followed closely.

However, reports say journalists who arrived the venue of the trial as early as 7:30am were prevented from gaining entrance into the court premises to cover the trial.

According to Abraham Achida, a photojournalist; “We have been here since 7.30 am and they said we cannot go in there unless we have the Federal High Court tag”.

The new development may not be unconnected to recent claims made by IPOB that the Nigerian government, in collaboration with its British counterpart was planning to eliminate the Biafra agitator.

Keep quiet. No blood will flow. Kanu can never be released out of prison that am sure and there is nothing you igbos can do about it.

I don’t want to believe there’s negotiation going on on Kanu’s case. This man ought to have been eliminated by now, why is it taking so much time?

I so much pity you right now. Truth be told, what Kanu has done isn’t against the constitution and he deserves to be killed. I not Yoruba, and I won’t be a partaker in what will cause commotion and break Nigeria’s unity, no I won’t.

Kanu by now is regretting his actions. Those who instigated the idiots are now enjoying themselves at home while he languish in prison. Who has ever fought federal government and won? I hope he has children to succeed him?

But I thought the United Kingdom was in support of Biafra, so why conniving with buhari to eliminate kanu.
I hope they won’t later poison him

Eliminate kanu, and Nigeria will know what it means to kill an Igbo.
