Kanu takes no election campaign to Onitsha despite Ohanaeze’s caution
Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nanmdi Kanu, despite the caution by Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has re-emphasized his no election campaign to Anambra state.
Kanu has maintained that until the process for Biafra referendum is announced by the Nigerian government, there will be no election in the South-East, beginning with the November governorship election in Anambra State.
But speaking on a Channels Television programme on Thursday, the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, had claimed that he and some Igbo leaders had cautioned Kanu on his position.
“I told him it was wrong and not the proper way to go. In any Nigerian city outside the indigenes, Igbos are the next highest in population,” had said.
But Kanu who was in Onitsha and in the midst of mammoth crowd, insisted on his no election stand.
He said to the cheering crowd, “There will be no election in Anambra and Biafra land forever and ever. This land belongs to Biafra.

“Our enemies will fail. We are without fear before our enemies. I will be alive to see Biafra or dead fighting for it. You all must see Biafra. Our enemies must know that Biafra was designed in heaven. They must know we are not joking”.
The crowd at a point started chanting “no election, no election, no referendum, no election”.
In his welcome address at the event on behalf of Onitsha IPOB members, Chief Leonard Ojukwu, described Kanu as a hero, and added that every average resident of Onitsha is a member of IPOB.

Those of you who are using this platform to express your idle words, thinking that Biafra is not a reality can go on on on and on. Save your idle words and go to bed or even kill yourself. But know for sure nobody will shoot one bullet over Biafra actualization.. Before your very eyes Biafra will be established to your very shame. Biafra is a Reality.

All I will kanu is to go ask people who witnessed the Biafra or civil war of 1967-1970. They will tell him how war claimed 1.8m igbos which is more like an holocaust. He better desist because he has not seen a war before

Nnamdi Kanu asked for a boycott of elections, a form of civil disobedience. When that day comes, people will be indoors, until the time allotted for the exercise lapses. Where is the war you people are talking about?

It is like this Kanu is ready to fight war. The people I pity are those following him, Kanu has back-up and other plans that is unknown to all of them. If they stop supporting him, he’ll be alone and helpless.

You’re a man of little knowledge and you obviously don’t want the best for yourself, if you do, you’ll know it’s time to support Kanu and Biafra movement and give up on Nigeria

Is funny how all ubguys says or say is bout war this war that…this ipob is a new generation movement voting civil right movement ideology….non violent civil disobedience……..So why u keep singing war song…ipob and biafra may be gaining traction…..as far as we know ipob has nit resorted to arm struggle….So the question and issue of war will not e mentioned…..if the Nigerian military go all out declaring war on unarmed agutators..trust me the world has moved on….u can not force people to coexist…simple logic how hard can. Referendum cost?our colonial master did it with their Scottish issue..den brexist happened
