Kanye tactically disowns Jay-Z’s Tidal

Published

on

Nobody wants to be associated with failure. Kanye is systematically distancing himself from Jay’z’s streaming service, Tidal, which he helped launch last month.

During the launch of Tidal, Kanye and other stars, in solidarity, changed their Twitter profile photos to Tidal’s blue Tidal square, and posting favourable tweets about the company.

Well, it seems the tide has changed, Tidal has had cut down on their staff, changed their CEO and subsequently fell off the top 700 iphone app chart. It is proving to be no match for Spotify that is flying up the chart. Spotify has free alternative service while Tidal does not offer anything free and is also more expensive.

Kanye has responded to this unfortunate turn of event by cutting himself off from the ailing company. He has changed his profile photo back to a ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ avatar, and deleted every comment he had made in favour of Tidal brand on his Twitter page.

Kanye’s switch is causing people on Twitter to post some funny tweets illustrating his ditching Tidal.

But who wants the endorsement of a hater? He should jolly well go mend his torn clothes.
