Kate Henshaw lashes at Nigerian police

A shocking case of police brutality witnessed by Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has left her reeling with harsh words for the Nigerian Police Force over countless inhuman treatment that civilians are being subjected to.

Recounting the incident, Kate said she witnessed an ugly scenario while in her car when policemen stationed along Ligali Ayorinde who in the name of controlling traffic caused a gridlock, and yet, proceeded to beat up drivers with their guns.

The actress spared no words when she took to twitter to express her displeasure at the incident which she described as madness.

“Shame to the so called policemen and soldiers at Ligali Ayorinde junction. Hitting people with guns. If this was a country where we all had guns..?!

“Their brazenness comes from the weapons they carry. One who is reeking of igbo (Indian Hemp) .. just carried one young guy who questioned him.

“I’m in my car before dem release stray bullet, it’s their way. This is madness. Now they have blocked the road and are beating someone. Lord!!!!

“They have succeeded in aggravating the traffic jam that they are pretending to clear. Hmmm… This my country needs more than prayers. This is just pure evil and intimidation of civilians!! So, so wrong!!,” she posted on twitter.
