Katsina Assembly elects new Speaker
Tasi- u Maigarin has been elected new Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly.
Maigarin emergence came when 32 out of the 34 members of the House, who were at the plenary on Monday, unanimously chose him to be their new Speaker.
Recall that the House has been running without a Speaker since the former Speaker, Abubakar Kusada, contested and won a by-election to the House of Representatives for Kusada/kankia/Ngawa Federal Constituency last month.
