Gov Masari admonishes colleagues on security matters

The Katsina State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has affirmed Gov. Aminu Masari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the rightful winner of the March 9 governorship election in the state.

The tribunal in a press release stated that there is no law that stipulates the number of names to be used in the filling of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s form for an election.

The tribunal also held that the petitioners failed to prove the allegation of substantial non-compliance to the electoral act in the conduct of the election.
