Kayode joins Shakhtar Donetsk
Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju Kayode has joined Ukrainian top division side, Shakhtar Donetsk on a lease agreement till the end of the season.
Spanish side Girona made this known on Twitter before Shakhter confirmed the loan move in a statement on their website.
“Nigeria striker, Larry Kayode will play for Shakhtar Donetsk till the end of the season. Good luck @larrykaz7_boi,” Girona tweeted late Friday.

Kayode, who was on loan from Manchester City at Girona, signed a 3-month deal with the former Ukrainian Champions, which includes the option of a permanent move.
The 24-year old scored 17 goals at Austria Wien last season to emerge top scorer in the Austrian League, but did not score a goal for Girona in 12 games before his departure, though provided assist.
He also played for Lucerne in Switzerland and Maccabi in Israel.
