Kebbi CP orders arrest of unauthorized policemen escorting VIPs

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Agunbiade Oluyemi Lasore has ordered the immediate arrest of unauthorized policemen attached to Very Important Personalities (VIPs) in the state.

Lasore who gave the order in a statement on Saturday informed that a special task force team would be put in place to ensure enforcement while also vowing to clampdown on illegal use of sirens.

The state CP noted further that the task force would not spare those found wanting over the indiscriminate use of diplomatic and covered number plates, unregistered vehicles and deployment of escorts for unauthorized persons.
