Kechi’s inspiring story adds another page as she marches into talent show semis

Nigerian star, Kechi Okwuchi, has reached the semi-final of the hit reality show, America’s Got Talent.

She was voted into the next stage after a stunning performance of Katy Perry’s ‘By The Grace of God’, wowing everyone, and earning another standing ovation from the audience and all the judges on the show.

The Sosoliso plane crash survivor is now just one step closer to the $1million prize money on offer.

A lot of Nigerians took to social media to express their excitement over the 27-year-old’s triumphant march forward, calling her an inspiration and wishing her ultimate success in the end.

Excited at her remarkable journey, Kechi also took to social media to thank God and everyone for their support.

She said via her twitter handle, @kechi, that, “I didn’t dare to dream of quarter finals, now I’m gonna be in @AGT semis…when God moves, He moves BIG! Thank u all for believing in me”.

One of the judges, Howie Mandel, who could not hide his excitement that Kechi had made it to the semi-final, replied her on twitter too.

He said via his handle @howiemandel, thus, “I’m happy that you’ll continue to inspire us at the Semifinals, @Kechi. Congratulations. #AGTResults”
