GUBER AMBITION: Kemi Olunloyo solicits for funds to help achieve dream

Controversial media personality Kemi Olunloyo has talked up her ambition to become the next governor of Oyo State in a new video on Instagram.

Known online as Snitchlady, the journalist and gun violence activist took to the picture and video sharing social media platform to launch the #ElectKOO2019 hashtag and also announced that she will be staging a meet between her and Oyo State indigenes on Twitter.

“I am running for governor of Oyo State and some people are not taking me serious but popular acceptance will prevail. A lot of people do not know what is happening in government.

“A lot of people say they haven’t been paid pension and gratuity since 2010 and people are being owed as much as five to six months of salary. Remember that I want to run a government for the people and by the people,” she said in the video.

Two weeks ago, Kemi and stand-up comedian Seyi Law both decided to settle over a lingering rift between them which became public after Kemi sometime ago called Seyi’s daughter (Tiwa) obese.

Kemi took to her Instagram page, sharing a video of her showing a picture of Tiwa saying she had forgiven her dad and noted that she will not taint her (Tiwa’s) childhood with bickering and hate.

In the heat of their rift, Kemi condemned Seyi Law for his supposed jubilation over her arrest and detention during her defamation case, calling him an “imbecile of a comedian”.

In his reply, Seyi came hard on Kemi, saying she ranted like a “rabies infested dog” and was only being jealous because she wished that she could have a lovely face to wake up to, and go back home to see like Tiwa, his daughter, hence, her bitterness towards his baby.

But all that has been settled as the pair have both since put the ugly episode behind them.
