Kidnappers threaten to relocate students of Model College, Igbonla as security operatives move closer

A close call at their camp by security agents has forced the kidnappers of six students of Lagos Model College, Igbonla, in Epe, to threaten concerned parents that they may relocate their kids to another hideout.

The threat was issued by the kidnappers after security operatives attempted to invade their camp by sneaking into a creek in Ondo State where the students who have now been held for 35 days were suspected to have been kept.

Reports say the security operatives found it very hard to access the camp of the kidnappers because they didn’t have a wooden boat which would have made it easier to cross some sections of the creek from where one would continue with a speed boat.

According to a police source, the police got information that the kidnappers were planning to change the location where they initially held the students.

“We got intelligence report this morning that the abductors were making a move to relocate the students again,” the source said.

Continuing, the source added that; “But everyone involved in this rescue mission is at alert, that is, the Military, officers of the Department of State Services, DSS and the Police. The students will be rescued alive at the end of the day, by the grace of God.”

Meanwhile, reports say the parents of the kidnapped students have continued to grow weary over the release of their kids who have spent more than a month in captivity.

We have to urge our security operatives to take things easy if not they will waste the lives of these children.

If the kidnappers had wanted to kill the students, they would have been dead by now. Forbthem to be changing location, that means they are not interested in taking their lives. The police should go after them and pin them down.

Forget it, if they discover that the police will apprehend soon , they wont want to lose on the two sides : no ransom as money; then be caught again, so they will waste the lives of the children as they know death is the remedy to them too in Justice

I feel the security system of this country is good, the police would have found the kidnappers a long time ago instead of what they are doing now
