Kidnappers want N150m for Siasia’s mum, N20m for Anugweje

The kidnappers of the mother of U-23 Eagles coach, Samson Siasia have made a demand for N150 million as ransom for the release of the 72-year-old Madam Beauty Ogere Siasia.

The kidnappers finally opened communication with the family who are very disturbed with the deteriorating health of their father who is visually impaired and was being taken care of by their abducted mother.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has promised the safe return of Siasia’s mother who was on Monday, November 16 abducted from her house in Odoni village, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State

Arase speaking from Ibadan assured that his men would soon rescue the 72-year-old.

“The difficulty we have initially is the terrain in that area. Mostly, the abductors come through the riverine areas but we are working and overcoming that and I can assure you that she will be released very soon,” Arase added.

Similarly, the kidnappers of Ken Anugweje, a board member of Athletic Federation of Nigeria, have demanded the sum of N20m as ransom in order to release the Professor of sports science.

Prof. Anugweje was kidnapped along airport road, Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
