KOGI: NJC delegation directs judiciary workers to accept table payment, biometric exercise

Following announcement of election dates by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has officially declared his intention to run for a second term.

Bello made the announcement while addressing stakeholders during the inauguration of Kogi State House of Assembly Commission at the banquet hall of the government house, Lokoja.

He stated that his declaration came after thorough consultations with the leadership of his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), at all level.

Also, he said calls from the people of Kogi State that he should run for another term prompted his decision.

In his words, “I would like to inform the good people of the State, the APC family and supporters from the state, the local government areas down to the wards and polling units, as well as various stakeholders, opinion moulders, families and friends of my interest to run for a second term in office as the Executive Governor of Kogi State”.

INEC had fixed Saturday, November 2, 2019 for the governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa.
