The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly of chasing away its agents in Gbeleko polling unit, Egbeda area of the state
The party said on its Twitter handle – “There is tension in Gbeleko in Egbeda as the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly chased away @OfficialPDPNig agents and engaged in multiple voting and ballot stuffing with @OfficialAPCNg thugs.”
The party urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and police to quickly arrest the situation.
The party also claimed that two agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) one Mrs. Idowu and Segun Ojo have been arrested by men of the IGP IRT squad at the Kabba Central Market with large number of PVCs and huge sums of money meant for vote-buying.
