Voters in Kogi State have apprehended two fake officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for allegedly hijacking election materials in Ayingba, Dekina local government area of Kogi State.
The voters later handed over the fake NSCDC staff to the police.

The Deputy Director, Public Communications of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in Kogi, Usman Austin, disclosed this to journalists on Saturday morning.
He also revealed that thugs had hijacked electoral materials meant for Odu 1 and 2 wards and Community High School in Ayingba.
“The thugs, who hijacked the electoral materials came in a Gulf vehicle,” he said.
