Don’t expect results where ballot boxes were snatched, INEC tells voters

Defiant voters assisted by security operatives have resisted thugs who came to snatch ballot papers in the Odu Ward 4, Odu-Ogboyaga, Dekina Local Government Area in Kogi State, where the governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Musa Wada voted.

The thugs stormed the polling unit and tried to snatch ballot boxes and other electoral materials when voters, majorly youths and security officials chased them away with stones and other objects.

Wada, who was optimistic of victory in the election, charged security agencies to be more vigilant in their duties.
