Lagos confirms discharge of 6 more COVID-19 patients

The Lagos State government Sunday confirmed the discharge of six COVID-19 patients from the state’s treatment centres after they recovered fully from the disease.

The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, disclosed this on his Twitter handle while giving an update of the pandemic situation in the state.

Lagos, the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, has 689 confirmed cases with 19 deaths.

However, about 200 hundred patients have been discharged from health facilities across the state after they were given a clean bill of health by medical experts.
