Lagos sends message of hope to residents, says COVID-19 under control

The Lagos State government said on Monday the state had recorded two more COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities in the state to 30.

The Lagos State Ministry of Health, which disclosed this on its Twitter handle, also disclosed that the state recorded 39 fresh cases on Sunday.

The state now has 1,123 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The ministry said: “39 new cases of COVID-19 Infection confirmed. Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 1,123.

“2 COVID-19 deaths were recorded. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Lagos to 30.”
