Lagos discharges four more Covid-19 patients

The Lagos State government has discharged four more Covid-19 patients, bringing the total of persons treated and discharged in the state to 98.

This was announced on Monday morning by the state’s Health Commissioner, Professor Akin Abayomi through a post on his Twitter handle-@ProAkinAbayomi.

He also confirmed that the state recorded 70 new cases on Sunday, which brought the number of persons to have tested positive in the state to 379.

He wrote, “70 new #COVID19 cases confirmed in Lagos. The total number of confirmed #COVID19Lagos cases are now 379. 4 additional fully recovered #COVID19 patients all male, were discharged.

“Total discharged #COVID19Lagos cases are now 98. Let’s observe #SocialDistancing and #StayHome to stop the transmission of #COVID19 infection #ForAGreaterLagos.”

Lagos State has recorded 14 deaths to the novel coronavirus. The government on Sunday said that 12 out of the 14 deaths died in a private hospital.
