Lagos discharges six more COVID-19 patients

Lagos State government on Monday night confirmed the discharge of six more coronavirus patients from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who disclosed this on his Twitter handle, said the patients were discharged after their full recovery from the disease.

According to him, the discharged patients comprised one woman and five men.

At least 61 persons have now been discharged from the state’s isolation facilities.

Sanwo-Olu said:

“Good people of Lagos, Today, 6 more persons; 1 female and 5 males have been discharged from IDH, Yaba, after their full recovery and testing negative twice to #COVID19. This good news brings the number of patients who have been managed and discharged from our facilities to 61.
