The Lagos State government Saturday confirmed the discharge of an additional 22 COVID-19 patients from the isolation centres in the state.
The state Ministry of Health said on its Twitter handle that eight females and 14 males were discharged after fully recovering from COVID-19.
According to the ministry, 19 patients were discharged from Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), two from the infectious diseases hospital (IDH), Yaba and one from the isolation centre in Lekki.

Following the development, the number of persons discharged from the state isolation facilities has risen to 247.
