The Lagos State Government yesterday said it has not been briefed on the proposal by the Federal Government to demolish two bridges in the state for the construction of the Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge project.
Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Wasiu Anifowose told Daily Trust that the purported demolition was more like a rumour.
Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi had on Monday in Lagos said Jibowu-Ojuelegba and Costain-Apapa bridges would give way for the project.
