LAGOS: School children, many others feared killed as 3-storey building colapses

A three-storey school building at Ita Faji, Lagos Island, collapsed and killed many primary school peoples around 10am on Wednesday.

A resident of the area, Prince Adams, who alerted journalists of the incident, said about 10 pupils had been removed from the rubble so far.

“It is terrible. Parents are crying. I can’t withstand the gory sight,” he added.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Kehinde Adebayo who confirmed the incident, said that emergency officials were already on ground to attend to the situation.
