EKITI 2018: Adeyeye joins APC to unseat Fayose’s PDP

A former member and national publicity secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dayo Adeyeye, is now the new spokesman of the Senate.

This came as the Senate President Ahmad Lawan on Wednesday appointed him as chairman, Senate ad- hoc Committee on Media and Public Affairs.

Adeyeye had dumped the PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), after failing to secure the party’s governorship election for the 2018 Ekiti State gubernatorial election.

He letter contested for senatorial position under the platform of the APC in 2019 general elections which he won.
