Leaked audio fails to stop Amaechi making list of Buhari’s campaign council
Not minding his alleged criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari in a leaked audio, Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday made the list of members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), that were inaugurated into Buhari’s Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.
Leaked audios which circulated on the social media had supposed Amaechi describing Buhari as a President who “doesn’t care” and “doesn’t listen to anybody”.
Despite the development, Amaechi, the Director-General, of the campaign council, was inaugurated as part of Buhari’s campaign council along a national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, who is the co-chairman of the council along Buhari.
The party’s national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo are the two deputy chairmen of the council.
