Lekan Shonde set to appear in court over wife's murder

Following the release of autopsy results of his late better-half, Lekan Shonde, the suspected killer of his ex-banker wife, Ronke is set to have his day in court according to reports.

Dolapo Badmos, the Police Public Relations Officer, has informed that Lekan will appear in court as he stands trial for the murder of his late wife today (Friday) much so as the burial of his wife takes place soon following the conclusion of autopsy, family sources say.

Commenting on Lekan’s impending trial, the police spokesperson said the suspect had questions to answer following the outcome of his late wife’s autopsy report.

“The autopsy has revealed that Mr. Lekan Shonde, the alleged killer of his wife, has a case to answer.

“Therefore, he will be charged to court tomorrow (Friday) to answer to the charge of murder.” Dolapo said.
