Liverpool beat Chelsea in thrilling Anfield clash to return top
Liverpool secured a 2-1 win against Chelsea in a Premier League clasb at Anfield on Sunday evening.
The Reds had fallen to second in the Premier League table earlier on Sunday after Manchester City defeated winless Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1.
But with the win over Chelsea, Liverpool have resumed their place ag the summit of the English top-flight.

Mohamed Salah opened scoring when he converted a penalty after 29 minutes following Levi Colwill’s foul on Curtis Jones.
Nicholas Jackson then scored an equaliser for the visitors three minutes into the second period, before Jones fired Liverpool back into the lead on 51 minutes. The Arne Slot side held on to win.
The Dutchman is the first Liverpool boss to win 10 of his first 11 games, this latest triumph sending them a point clear at the top.
