English Premier League leaders, Liverpool came from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 and moved to within three wins of title.

The victory was Liverpool’s 22nd successive Premier League win at Anfield, breaking the English top-flight record set by Shankly’s team in 1972.

The Reds, who have suffered defeat in three of their past four games, bounced back from a back-to-back defeat to seal the win.

The hosts fell behind in controversial circumstances, Callum Wilson slotting home Jefferson Lerma’s low cross in the 9th minute.

Goals by Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane helped the hosts secure the comeback.

Salah, who was making his 100th league appearance for the club, restored parity with his 70th goal in the 25th minute before Mane latched on to Virgil van Dijk’s through-ball to complete the turnaround on 33 minutes.

Liverpool went 25 points clear at the top of the table, ahead of Manchester City, who face their city rivals United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
