LMC appeals Court Order on reinstatement of Giwa FC

The League Management Company (LMC) has postponed the match day 29 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game between Rivers United and Ikorodu United.

In a release signed by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the LMC, Salihu Abubakar on Friday, the request of Rivers United FC to postpone the game which was based on medical advice was granted.

A new date for the fixture is yet to be announced.

Rivers United is currently in third place of the NPFL standings with 44 points from 26 matches while Ikorodu United is in 19th place with 16 points from 25 matches.
