Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was in action for Atalanta in their 3-0 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night.

The game played at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany saw Lookman providing an assist and scoring a goal for his club.

The Italians have now taken four points from their two Champions League fixtures this season after beginning their campaign with a goalless draw against Arsenal.

Lookman assisted Albania captain Berat Djimsiti to open scoring in the 21st minute before doubling Atalanta’s lead a minute before the interval.

The former Chalton and Everton player scored with a placed effort into the bottom corner from Sead Kolasinac’s pass.

The game went beyond Shakhtar three minutes after the restart when Raoul Bellanova capitalised on some hesitant defending to nod in Davide Zappacosta’s cross to make it three for Atalanta.
