After losing out on Anambra governorship race, Yul Edochie eyes presidency in 2019 (Video)

Two months after losing out to Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in his bid to become governor of Anambra State, Nollywood actor and governorship candidate of the Democratic Peoples Congress, DPC, Yul Edochie has hinted that he may run for presidency come 2019.

The son of veteran actor Pete Edochie made his intention public when he shared a video on Instagram as he turned 36 on January 7th, 2018, saying “I may just run for presidency in 2019 and I’ll win.”

Yul polled I45 votes to emerge 19 out of 37 contenders that jostled for the governorship stool last November according to final results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Recall that immediately after he lost out in the last governorship election staged in Anambra state, the actor turned politician quickly congratulated Governor Willie Obiano on his victory at the polls on social media.
