The Coach of the indomitable lions of Cameroon Hugo Broos has said that his team is lucky they won’t be playing Nigeria this year, saying the Super Eagles are on a high at the moment.

Cameroon, who are in the same group with Nigeria, are yet to pick a win, with two draws from their matches against Algeria and Zambia.

Nigeria however are currently four points ahead of Cameroon, and both teams will be meeting each other in August 2017, for which Broos has said the timing couldn’t have been any better.

”They (Super Eagles) are on a high, hard to find any weakness in them at the moment, maybe we are lucky because we don’t play them until next year. Hopefully we would have build up confidence to explore any weakness,” he said.

”We will approach both tie against Nigeria with the seriousness it deserves, they are beatable no doubt, and after our not too impressive start, we need a very good result against Nigeria”, he said.
