Maikori will be tried for Southern Kaduna comments -Police
It is not yet uhuru for Chocolate City boss Audu Maikori as the Nigerian Police speaking through the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood revealed that the lawyer and entertainment impresario may soon be charged to court over his comments.
Moshood noted that Maikori was still being investigated over his inflammatory tweets, adding that he would be arraigned in court soon, immediately after the conclusion of findings into the matter.
“He (Maikori) is under investigation. He will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation,” Moshood stated on Saturday.

Reports say Maikori’s retraction and apology over the killings in Southern Kaduna has not been accepted by Governor Nasir el-Rufai who sources say complained about the tweets to the police authorities who ordered his (Maikori’s) arrest.
The Chocolate City boss was picked up in Lagos by security operatives, and reportedly transferred to Abuja for more questioning, but was freed 24-hours after he was arrested.
