Maje makes good his threat, slams Toke with N100m lawsuit
Fitness instructor Maje Ayida has slammed his ex-wife Toke Makinwa with a N100 million lawsuit for the publication of her book entitled “On Becoming…”.
He claims the book is largely fabricated and a dent to his image and by extension his business brand.
Reports say the lawsuit was filed before the Lagos High Court on February 2 by Maje’s lawyer, Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) of Pinheiro LP while Kachifo Limited, was also named in the suit.
Maje employed the services of a British law firm to sue Toke over the published book which revealed the alleged details of their failed marriage.

The lawyers engaged by Maje according to reports manages legal issues for famous people/groups including Simon Cowell, Elton John and Chelsea FC, while his Nigerian lawyer Pinheiro (SAN) leads his legal team here in Nigeria.
Toke who seems undeterred by the impending court case with Maje, flew to London days ago to continue her book tour promo which has been gathering appreciable buzz in recent times.
Her trip to Queensland came after similar trips to Ghana and Kenya.
