More dirty details of the well documented affair between Maje Ayida and Toke Makinwa are emerging following the book release entitled “On Becoming…” detailing the life and personal relationship of the chatterbox media personality.

A portion of the book reveals that Maje had once written an email to Toke requesting a divorce but he deleted it, without sending the mail.

Read excerpts of the portion of the book below;

“My pastor has been seeing Maje and I before now for counselling. We have been having issues for months. Maje is always in a sour mood, picking at every little thing I do. I found out in the course of our counselling that Maje had once written an email to me requesting a divorce but had deleted it, without sending, at our pastor’s request.”

Toke also recalled how she lost her parents who were just 35 (dad) and 34 (mum) at the time to a fire outbreak caused by a gas cylinder explosion while she was just eight-years-old.

“My dad had come out of the building smelling of burning rubber, putting out the fire on his shorts as he tried to explain what happened to a crowd that seemed to be getting bigger every minute.

Continuing, she added that; “There was something I could taste in my mouth; it was fear. Fear gripped me and I could barely move. In movies, you sometimes see a scene with someone burning from head to toe. Everyone ran back trying to figure out who it was. It took a moment to realise it was my mum. I stood glued to the spot watching her burn”.
