Majek Fashek claims he's born again, says he's done with drugs, alcohol, women

Veteran reggae musician Majek Fashek now claims he’s a born again Christian who has jettisoned his many vices and has given his life to Jesus Christ who he believes in.

Majek while speaking during an interview with a popular Nigerian newspaper said he’s done with smoking, drinking and chasing women. He even revealed that his new found faith and new life will form the basis of the lyrics of his forthcoming songs.

The “rainmaker” says old things have passed away; “The change is that Majek Fashek is born again. I believe in Jesus Christ and you will see that in my new music. When one is born again, it means old things have passed away.”

He also said he is now concentrating on making good music; “I’m not interested in women, drugs, alcohol and other things like that. I’m only going to be concentrating on making good music for my fans.”

    This is his new way of making money. Can a reggae musician do without alcohol, smoke or women? I really doubt it.

      Giving one’s life to Christ isn’t a problem and Faske’s decision to start living for Christ is not your problem, let him do whatever he likes. Don’t doubt anything
