I make N500,000 each day from selling weed, hard drugs arrested dealer confesses

The long arm of the law has caught up with a drug seller in the Akala, Mushin area of Lagos State, who revealed after he was caught that he makes as much as half a million naira selling Indian Hemp and other illicit drugs.

The drug seller simply identified as Malboro, was among 50 other suspected criminals arrested during a joint operation by Lagos State Task Force over the weekend.

According to the arrested suspect, his clients were usually from Obalende, Oshodi, Pen-cinema, Apapa, Lagos Island, Fadeyi among others saying “Akala serves as a Central Market for Indian hemp and illicit drugs to all miscreants and hoodlums across the state.”

During the joint operation by Lagos State Task Force, no less than 50 suspected notorious criminals were arrested and 48 bags of illicit drugs recovered after the Task Force combed the area.

The Chairman of the Task Force SP Olayinka Egbeyem, said the operation was in continuation of the bid to drastically reduce criminality across the state in enforcement operations on ‘Eradication of Criminal Hideouts’ carried out in the area as directed by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Mr. Imohimi Edgal.
