Man attempts suicide after hacking his 3 kids to death

A man identified as Mamman Dankarami who resides at Goru village of Arewa Local Government of Kebbi State sent cold shivers down the spines of onlookers after butchering his three kids and attempted suicide by taking his life when he plunged into a well.

The man was however rescued before he could drown by neighbours who gave the ages of the man’s kids as four, two and five months.

Reports say, Malama Nafisat, wife of the suspect, went into a coma after she got wind of the unfortunate incident that had befallen her children.

Alhaji Muhammadu Dankaku, the Sole Administrator of Arewa Local Government, who confirmed the incident revealed that the suspect may be suffering from mental health.

Kebbi State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Nafi’u Abubakar also confirmed the incident and revealed that the suspect had been admitted at psychiatric hospital in Jega local Government of Kebbi State for mental evaluation.
