Man City fall to shock defeat at B’mouth, Liverpool seal comeback win to go top
Manchester City suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.
Antoine Semenyo and Evanlison were the goalscores for Bournemouth as they sealed their first-ever win against Manchester City.
The Cherries, in good form after picking up four points from their last two games against Aston Villa and Arsenal, stunned the champions as they fell from the top.
The defeat means City slip to second after Liverpool came-from-behind to beat Brighton 2-1, while Bournemouth climb up to eighth.

Mohamed Salah was on target for Liverpool, he netted a stunner in the Anfield victory to send the Reds to the summit of the league.
Ferdi Kadioglu’s fine strike from 16 yards had put Brighton ahead in the 14th minute, but in a game of two halves, Cody Gakpo equalised on 69 minutes before Salah fired in the winner.
Liverpool, who have won 13 of their 15 games under new manager Arne Slot, are two points above Manchester City.
In the other Premier League games played concurrently, Leicester City fought back to draw 1-1 with Ipswich Town; Nottingham Forest thrashed West Ham 3-0 while Southampton defeated Everton 1-0.
