Man suspected to be behind New York bombing arrested
A few hours after he was publicly identified as the man behind the ‘intentional’ explosion in the city of New York which left no less than 29 people injured, Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, has been arrested in New Jersey.

According to New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, Rahami was captured after a shootout with police.

The suspect is said to be a New Jersey resident and a naturalised citizen from Afghanistan.

Reports say the investigation into the explosion on Saturday in an upper-class Manhattan neighbourhood is “definitely leading” in the direction of “terrorism” with the New York Police Department getting ready to interrogate the arrested suspect.
