Man United thump Sunderland 3-1

Manchester United have continued in their improved form on Boxing Day, grabbing a 4th consecutive win in the English Premier League as they thumped Sunderland 3-1 at Old Trafford.

Blind’s opener, Ibrahimovic’s late show and Mkhitaryan’s wonder goal gave the Reds a deserved win over David Moyes’ men.

A first half goal from Daley Blind put the Reds ahead at 39 minute. The goal kept the difference until an 82nd minute goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic solidified the lead, and just about four minutes later, the third goal for United was fantastically added by substitute Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

At the 90th minute however, a fine finish from Fabio Borini made the scoreline a little more respectable for Sunderland but couldn’t save the visitors, as the game ended in favour of Jose Mourinho’s men.
