Man Utd edge Spurs to reach FA Cup final

Manchester United sealed their place in the English FA Cup final after coming from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in their semifinal clash at Wembley on Saturday

Dele Alli had put Spurs ahead in the 11th minute, sliding in to convert Christian Eriksen’s low cross.

But Alexis Sanchez headed in a delivery from Paul Pogba in the 24th minute to bring the Red Devils back in the game.

Ander Herrera then fired a low shot under goalkeeper Michel Vorm just after the hour mark to United ahead. And they held off Spurs’ challenge to seal a spot in the final.
While United reached a record-equalling 20th FA Cup final, Spurs were condemned to an eighth consecutive FA Cup semi-final defeat.
Jose Mourinho’s side will play Chelsea or Southampton, who play in the second semi-final on Sunday
