Man Utd set to lure Ruben Amorim to old Trafford, Sporting confirm
Sporting Lisbon of Portugal have confirmed that Manchester United are interested in their manager Ruben Amorim as replacement for Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils showed the door to Ten Hag on Monday following a 2-1 defeat to West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday.
The club already appointed Ruud van Nistelrooy as interim manager, promising to get a substantive manager to replace the sacked Dutchman.
On Tuesday, Sporting confirm that Manchester United have approached the club for their manager, and are willing to pay his 10m euros release clause.
