Man, wife killed as Boko Haram reportedly bombs Borno community

Five persons including father, son killed in Borno bomb blast

In coming reports say, a man and his wife were in the early hours of Sunday killed, when a bomb allegedly set off by the Boko Haram terrorist group went off in Kafan Ruwa town, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.

According to reports, the explosions, which occurred around 12:30am on Sunday, also injured many residents.

A security source, who spoke under condition of anonymity, however said that details of the actual casualty figure could not be ascertained yet, but that a man and his wife were killed in the blast.

This is coming few days after multiple explosions rocked Maiduguri, the state capital, killing several persons and injuring many more.
